The company is privately owned and takes full responsibility for development, technology, production and direct relationships with distributors and specialist dealers worldwide.

At the core of this independence lies the engineering expertise of Andreas Hofmann.
Over several decades, he has developed technologies that do not copy or slightly modify existing concepts, but follow an entirely independent path: Octave technology.

The focus has always been on a natural, powerful sound, supported by technical safety, intuitive operation and exceptional long-term durability. In short: Perfection in every detail.

This philosophy can only be realized when development and production remain fully under our own control. That is why Octave amplifiers are consistently engineered in-house, from the initial circuit design and transformers to final tuning and end-of-line inspection.

An experienced team has supported this process for many years. Some team members have been part of Octave for more than 25 years. Their experience and sense of responsibility shape every single product.

Our suppliers are deliberately located nearby and are involved early in the development process, ensuring that quality, precision and reliability remain fully controllable at all times.

All Octave products are 100% Made in Germany.
