The V 70 goes back to the idea of ​​refining the successful V 40 concept technically and sonically. Generously dimensioned output transformers lead to an increased output power of 2 x 70 watts. In addition, an extremely complex, perfectly symmetrical winding technology guarantees ideal conditions for each end tube. Stronger end pentodes (KT 88 or 6550), the use of high-quality components such as Hochvoltelkos from Epcos (Siemens) and low-impedance, high-performance MOS-FETs in tube stabilization are among the major innovations that are also reflected in sound improvements, such as the first test in Stereoplay 01/2004 shows. There, the V 70 was able to assert itself immediately against significantly more expensive tube and transistor integrated amplifiers from well-known competitors and was awarded a rating in the "absolute top class".
