Integrated Amplifier V 50

Derived from the technology in the OCTAVE Jubilee reference output stages, complex stabilization in the supply and the control voltages of the pentode end tubes of type EL 34 leads to an audibly improved sound quality. Two high-voltage FET transistors in the control circuit of the V50 upgrade ensure absolutely stable voltages. A further sound-relevant modification has been the consistent supply of the tube heating with optimized DC voltages. Schottky diodes and filter capacitors with 60,000 µF are used in the rectification. The additional stabilization and rectification of all operating voltages leads to significantly improved measured values. The signal-to-noise ratio increases by a whopping 10 dB. With a sensational value of - 98 dB, the V50 MK II can confidently stand up to even excellent transistor devices. While with conventional amplifiers, noise and hum increase with increasing output power and are only covered by the music, with the OCTAVE V50 MK II these interference factors remain at a constantly low level regardless of the volume.
