The HP 500 has been manufactured since 1987. Many detail improvements and changes have been incorporated over the years and have made it even more attractive in terms of sound. So the MK3 version is today e.g. Equipped with an external power supply as standard, XLR output with transformer balancing and the further developed phono section are options that make the device the most universal tube preamplifier of our time. Innovations can of course be retrofitted to older models.
