The tube preamplifier HP 200 was manufactured from 1992 to 2002. Its concept is based on the OCTAVE hybrid circuit in combination with the combined power supply control electronics. The specialization of the hybrid circuit enabled an amplifier concept that manages with an operating voltage of only 150 V. This made it possible to develop a cost-effective variant of the successful HP 500. The device has a multi-stage soft-start electronics - switching errors and operating errors are excluded. The device switches off in the event of mains fluctuations or failures. No adjustment work is required when replacing tubes.
